Ceramic vessel
47cm diameter
A study of the organic structure and texture of the palm leaf grown on my family’s property in Berry. Its delicate ridges, irregularities and natural movement remain visible in the finished piece, allowing the character of the original leaf to shape the form of the vessel. The work reflects my interest in preserving fleeting elements of nature and grounding them within a material that is both ancient and enduring.
