Acrylic on canvas
55x46cm, Framed
Mimi's practice sits between instinct and structure, dark anchoring forms and gestural marks built up against luminous, textured centres. She works primarily in earthy tones, brown, rust, burgundy, green, drawn to the tension between control and looseness. A decade spent immersed in interior spaces has left her deeply attuned to how a work occupies a room, though each piece is ultimately driven by process, layering and repetition until something honest emerges.
