Acrylic painting on wooden canvas
80x90cm
Ruby Gordon is an emerging multidisciplinary artist based on Garigal Country in Sydney's Northern Beaches. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School, majoring in printmaking while maintaining an expanded practice that incorporates painting, photography, and drawing. Ruby's work explores themes of place, memory, and human connection to the natural environment. Drawing from personal experiences, observations, and photographic documentation, she investigates how landscapes and everyday moments become embedded with meaning over time. Her practice is driven by a close attention to detail and an interest in preserving fleeting encounters through image-making.
