Having the privilege of being a Visual Arts Teacher means you can often find yourself becoming a safe harbour, a home, to those who may not have had one before. Watching my Year 12’s begin their lives as strong & independent people is joyous, and when they leave a little note of thanks behind, it really does mean the world. This work features a scroll made by one such student written in Old English, (because why not!), “Thou are truly one of the kindest, merriest and more noble adults, and I wish you happiness evermore!”.
