Joy and Lightness was first inspired by the Iceland poppies. They are surrounded by daisies, jonquils, and baby’s breath. It feels like morning sun and promise. The life of a poppy is seen here, from bud to bloom to wilted petals. I was drawn to how each phase of life has its own beauty.
