Although the national parks surrounding us here on the Northern Beaches are packed with well-known flora - wattle, banksia, casuarina, grevillea, eucalypt - there are many lesser known species that fill the bush with verdant green and pretty flowers. Persoonia pinifolia has pine-like leaves and striking yellow flowers. Once you see it in the bush, you see it everywhere. It makes beautiful impressions on clay.
Bushlands bowl is constructed from a mix of black and red clays, and I’ve added a small quantity of paper pulp to enable the build.
