Coral Gum Story is part of my Tree Portraits series, exploring the individuality of Australian trees through close observation. The coral gum continues to intrigue me with its sculptural form and the way it responds to changing light. As the day shifts, its foliage moves through an extraordinary range of colour—from pale grey and warm yellow to luminous green—revealing a complexity that is easy to overlook.
