Acrylic on canvas
33.5x43.5cm, framed
Daniella D'Cruz is a Brisbane-based contemporary still life artist whose vibrant acrylic paintings explore memory, ritual and the emotional significance of everyday objects. Influenced by Pop Art, printmaking and illustration, she transforms flowers, fruit, ceramics and glassware into bold, graphic compositions that celebrate colour while reflecting on nostalgia, impermanence and the quiet moments that shape our lives. Inspired by the sudden loss of her father, her practice explores the idea of ‘forever objects’—everyday possessions that outlive us and become vessels for memory.
