Acrylic on canvas
40x30cm, unframed
I grew up in a home where love is shown through food. No birthday or significant moment goes without a feast. Sitting around a table sharing a meal is my favourite way to connect still to this day. My family is loud, lively and loving, I chose bright and warm colours to capture that feeling. This piece is drenched in colour, but in a warm and joyful way. I like to slowly build up the layers when painting to create a depth and interesting textures in the different subjects.
