This piece feels so organic and earthy. There’s something a bit sultry about the palette and yet soothing. As a mother, I paint in the inbetween moments…when my baby is asleep or if my husband is home off the farm and has some time off work. I feel like this piece really holds that beautiful space, the quiet, the slowness, the connectedness. It’s a piece of love, of connecting to nature, of connecting to ourselves and each other as a family.
